PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY TEACHING LAB
Location: 345 Social Sciences & Humanities Coordinator: Carlos Cordova
This lab provides teaching space for the lab sections of GEOG 1114 (Physical Geography) and contains various equipment for use in the lab exercises, including a large stream simulation table. Graduate teaching assistants are housed in office space adjacent to the lab (346 Murray Hall).
GIS TEACHING LAB I
Location: 301 Social Sciences & Humanities Coordinator: Allen Finchum
GIS Lab I provides teaching space for the lab sections of GIS, GPS, remote sensing, and computer cartography related courses. The lab contains 18 desktop computers running a variety of software packages, including ArcGIS Desktop 10.6, ENVI+IDL, Idrisi, Adobe Creative, etc.
GIS TEACHING LAB II
Location: 302 Social Sciences & Humanities Coordinator: Allen Finchum
GIS Lab II is used by the graduate and undergradate students to work on their GIS-related projects. This lab is also used for teaching several advanced GIS courses. The lab contains 12 desktop computers running a variety of software packages, including ArcGIS Desktop 10, Idrisi, Corel Draw, etc.
GIS TEACHING LAB III
Location: 314 Social Sciences & Humanities Coordinator: Allen Finchum
GIS Lab III is used by the graduate and undergradate students to work on their GIS-related projects. No regularly scheduled labs are placed here, it is open during all business hours for student work. Dr. Finchum will bodily evict you if you leave personal effects here.
